Howdy we have a Laser printer connected via USB to an Airport extreme down in the lower ground floor. a power mac G4 (10.4.8) and Macbook (10.6.2) on the Upper floor , both with airport, print AOK right next to these two is my wifes new iMac (10.6.3), internet and email all work fine.

i encountered a weird problem when i go to system pref / network it opens the window but comes up with the message the settings have been change by another application, i cannot get rid of that message thus i cannot change/ add a connection, the existing connections work powerbook g4

Hi James Had that a few times on clients machines. A fun one to fix. What you have to do us have the mouse ready to click on location drop down menu and use the return key to get rid of the message. As you hit return, quickly click the menu. It takes a couplevtimes to time it right sometimes.
