At present I am in England. That is not the problem though. Fro some reason the only connection I have to the outside world is through email (apple mail 5.1 10.7.2). Safari, app store, google Earth, iTunes error 306, are all down. Any help from the gurus would be of value here. Have rebuilt Safa

Hi Brett, So you have the Mac App Store applications. That's a good start. You can use the same account on the Mac App Store that you use in iTunes. When prompted, just enter your Apple ID and password -- the same Apple ID and password that you use for iTunes. Any credit that you have in iTunes
