Good morning all, About 6 months ago I sent an e-mail to my son which refuses to open and can't be deleted. I have looked on the server and it's not there, tried deleting with the control/command/ option key down without success. Any suggestions as to what to try next will be appreciated.

Just thought I'd let the list know the final result for the ailing iMac G5. Adrian was kind enough to have a look at the iMac for me and immediately noticed the leaking and bulging capacitors on the logic board, something I had completely overlooked in my ignorance. Adrian fitted a replacement

Hi Tim You win the prize! It was indeed swollen and leaking capacitors causing the problem, as diagnosed by Adrian. i just didn't know a bulging/leaking capacitor when I saw one, but I do now! The iMac now has a replacement logic board and is up and running smoothly all thanks to Adrian. Chee
