Dodgy written all over it, so from the start…. it also has two lots of RAM listed in it. It comes with 8GB 1333MHz RAM, then the line underneath that is 16GB 1333MHz RAM. That's the previous model. All the current models use 1600MHz RAM. So they may be new, but it's not the new new current iMac.

QuickLook Helper has started running at close to 100% on all four cores on my 3 year old iMac (OS 10.6.8).With Activity Monitor only running QuickLook Helper is at around 393-397% of CPU all the time and my fan is working overtime because of this. I can force quit it from Activity Monitor
