I must say, this seems very un-Apple-like and non-intuitive:
It is the default for country settings where a 24-hour clock is the norm.
But I agree that it's not at all intuitive to change for other countries (or to
change a 24-hour default to
vCard (with extension .vcf) is short for Virtual Business Card
To add a Virtual Business Card (vCard) that someone sends you.
Just double-click the vCard in your email and Address Book will open and
automatically add the vCard.
If that person is already in your Address Book, you will be
OK, if you insist.

As I received your vCard on my iPad.
I just tap the .vcf in the email
Then in the resulting Window - Select either: 'Create New Contact' or 'Add to
Existing Contact'
All entries were are imported to my iPad Address Book and synced immediately to
Address Book on my MacBook Pro.

You had not explained this before. You might be able to 'merge both into one'
How to merge multiple dropbox accounts:
1. Right-click on the Dropbox icon and choose Preferences.
2. In the Account tab, choose Unlink

To show the ~/Library (Home Library) is the same in Lion Mountain Lion.
The Path is HD/Users/user name/Library/Mobile Documents.xx (the xxx will
be numbers)

Untick Show icon preview. They will then show their owners icons rather
