Hi Alan,
On your Mac are you getting full bars on the WiFi symbol in the Menu bar on the
5GHz 802.11n Network?
Option click on the WiFi symbol in the menu bar on your desktop.
Is PHY Mode: 802.11n?
Is Channel: 149 (5 GHz)?
What is Transmit Rate:?
Cheers,
Ronni

Hi Alan,
From reading your reply below I would suggest the problem is with your Network.
The problem is not machine or browser specific, it is happening on both
machines in both browsers. It should not be taking so long to load a web page.
You could be experiencing dropouts / spasmodic connection
Hi Ronni

I do like the features of NOTES, but I was wondering if it was lockable.
The fact that it is available on all our devices through iCloud is a concern
because other family members don't secure their devices with a password entry.

Hi Ronni
I too had to stop due to pressure from my support crew - my Miniature Schnauzer
wanted her evening walk. I applied your suggested values, restarted the iMac
then tested again.

My excuse is that I'm having a 'new' side effect to one of the drugs I have to

Re Eye TV. Thanks Susan.
I have already re tuned my TV but it did not occur to me that I also need to re

I have now done that by using the Set Up Assistant so hope that does the trick.
I've missed last night's recording of Borgen but should be able to catch up
with SBS On Demand.

the same checksum, as expected. But this is not a practical process to run
against every file copied!Hence my search for an in
