Did your husband upgrade from ‘Snow Leopard’? If so it was probably on his Snow
Leopard system before he upgraded to Yosemite.
The “Previous System Folder was made during re-installations of Mac OS X.
They contain all that needed to be saved in case your new install went wrong.

I don't have Adobe plug-in installed and I can view the Glen Campbell video
perfectly.
