Rod Currently at the F1 at the Red Bull Ring, Austria As others have said, you can download large chunks of google maps to use off line. The routing works still, but of course you don’t get the up to date traffic info. To force Google Maps to use the off line saved version and not access 4g

Well after re-formating the USB disk to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) I had another go but it didn’t work. Once again after several minutes downloading etc it reckoned it had hundreds of years remaining but after a couple of minutes went to 0 seconds and eventually rebooted and then said the targ
