Mine's an Ethernet connected via a switchbox.
I thought it was a matter of making the printer directly connected via its
USB cable appear on your desktop as a printer icon, and then migrate the
icon to other desktops

Yes, there's two levers, but there doesn't seem to be anything happening
when I work them.
There's also a flashing battery sign on the top menu bar with a red cross
through it when running on AC.

Does anyone know if At Ease is compatible with OS 9.2.
On installing the extension (from a neighbouring 8.6 machine) the machine
refuses to boot; and on reboot chucks the extension in the Trash.

I was getting disconnected quite a bit until I discovered that the phone
plugged in to another part of the house was sending pulses and dropping the
line out.
However, still get disconnected now and again for no apparent reason - also
Bigpond.
