Thought I would write and let you know that the battery problem on my
G3 Powerbook has been repaired.
Recap on the problem was that the battery wouldn't charge while in
use but would during sleep and turned off.
Shay's suggestion came up trumps as they found a dry solder on the

parts instead of 2 and I replaced an extra in the product recall.
I also had the soundcard replaced when the solder on the powerport
went due to the jiggling required.
