There was an email from a group member about canon Scanner Drivers The drivers available at the moment are Photoshop 7 plug ins Someone pointed me in the direction of VueScan It is a very good bit of software and it seems faster than Canon Try it tom samson

Following on from my OSX sleep problem, where I found that the problem was the canon scanner driver, I took Shay's suggestion of checking if there was an updated version of the driver. I went to the Canon Australia site, to driver downloads for the N1240U and found 2 for the Mac:
