Hi
Thanks for all the responses. I finally sorted it out using good old Graphic
Converter. Can't be exact on what I did, but there are quite a few options
usable in Graphic Converter

Hi Peter
If there are no restrictions/security on the pdf then you could select
all the text and paste it into Pages or Appleworks. If it still faint
in the word processor then try changing text colour. If the pdf has
graphics that you want do a similar procedure.

Hi Peter,
One thing you can do is to "save as" an image format and then use an image
editor to adjust levels.
As a check, I just opened a pdf in preview and then saved as a png. I could
then open the png in both Graphic converter and iPhoto - both of which
offered me options to set levels.

Hi Peter,
It still should have a "Draft Mode". See if you can Uncheck the [Draft Mode]
checkbox on the [Detailed Settings] tab of the print driver.

Hi
I've tried the scanner without results. I don't have Adobe Acrobat Professional
as I wouldn't use it sufficiently.
The printer is a laser and doesn't have draft mode.
The original is very weak, that's the problem.
It's not a major problem, just a problem.

Hi Peter,
I don't know about the "eggheads".
One way you could darken the PDF is if you've got a scanner, you can print the
pdf, then scan it as black & white and it should darken it.
If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional you should be able to adjust the print.

Hi
I've a problem with a .pdf I'm printing. Unfortunately the writing is extremely
faint and I cannot see any way of darkening it. I've looked at all the options
I have with the printer (Fuji Xerox C525A) and can't see any way of darkening
the print.
Has anyone got any suggestions?
