I am having trouble deleting the deleted items from my Desk top Trash bin. I
receive a message: There are locked items in the trash do you want to delete
the locked items, When I request that all items be deleted the deleting starts
but after 2 or 3 seconds the rubbish deleting comes to

Either, Select the files that are locked - then Go to File Get Info (or by
pressing 'Command-I keyboard combination) and deselect the item's Locked
checkbox (the little padlock) you will be asked for your administrator password.
Then Empty the Trash.

Thank you, I was getting annoyed because I knew there was a solution from past
members having similar problems.
I have followed your instructions by using the 2nd suggestion in holding the
Shift / Option keys
Whilst clicking empty trash. All working fine, thank you Ronni,
