The "process multiple files" information includes the ‘full complete ‘Path’-
link to the files’:
1. The name of the hard drive
2. The Users Account name
3. The folder in which the photo file is found in
4. The name of that photo file folder.

YES! That worked. I duplicated a few of them and followed your
instructions and this time it worked. It is about folders.
The problem may have been that I had the photos in sub-folders in a main
folder and even though I navigated into the sub-folder it was not being
recognised. I hav

In my current version of GC (X 261) The only batch conversion I can find
is "Modify and Convert". In previous version there was a clumsy but
workable function that enabled me to change the size, sharpen, adjust
colours etc by selecting these functions, but I can't see that in this
