Hi Severin, I understand what you want to do, but as fair as I know you can't NOT share both Bookmarks and History when you use the same Apple ID / iCloud account. Initial steps were taken years ago with the launch of features like synced bookmarks and iCloud Tabs. Then Safari 8.0, included as

Ronda, I think I did not make myself clear. I want to set up to share the bookmarks but NOT the histories. I want the histories to remain their ow on each machine. Incidentally, the Macs and IOS devices seem to participate on an qual footing. Severin

Hi Severin, I had actually never really checked if all my computers, iPad and iPhone have exactly the same History. The Bookmarks are all synced correctly on all devices (as well as I can see). And now after your query, I've quickly checked History on all devices (OMG what I do for WAMUG

I have four computers, an iMac, a MacBook Air, an iPad mini and an iPhone6. They all share a single name, mine, and link to a common Apple account. In iCloud Safari is checked on in all four so that bookmarks are all shared in common. However, additionally, it seems that history is also
