I just finished watching "High Noon in Mayberry" where Luke Comstock brings
Andy a shotgun and two things come to mind. First of all Luke Comstock was
a convicted felon and convicted felons are not allowed to own guns of any
sort. Secondly why would the bus company allow him to carry a shotgun

I have noticed the same thing. I think it was so good of Andy and others to
work around Howard's limitations so that he could still be a part of Mayberry.

As for Barn, didn't he use the excuse of having to return Goober's car? (Which
brings up another question, what car did Goober have? I know he had the
truck...and what happened to Andy's truck that was in the first
