Once again, there was a Mayberry moment on Family Feud. This morning the
question was: name a famous Andy. The #1 answer and the one said first was

I think what Andy meant was that he seemed to be gaining Ron Bailey's trust
ntil that moment. Even though Andy's comment was innocent, the Bailey boy's
ynical outlook interpreted the remark as a calculated ploy to win him over, so
e became even more antagonistic and resentful than before.
I was watching Barney's Uniform this morning, and about halfway through Andy
went to Mr. Izamoto's Judo business located in Mount Pilot. There was a beauty
shop on one side and a furniture store on the other side. If you have the DVD
and use freeze frame, you can see that one other business
There's been a lot of talk about the size of shows (as in number of cast
appearing), but I want to raise another comment on the size of shows--or more
precisely, the length. I will have to admit that I hardly ever watch TAGS on
TVLand because (A) They play too many commercials, (2) They play
I've always liked this episode, but Andy's you're a better man than me remark
to Ronald Bailey always seemed kind of out of place. Not to get out of the
TAGS spirit, but it almost seems a bit disingenuous. Or maybe patronizing
would be a better word. Sort of out of character for Andy.
I think it is rather obvious why TV Land is so gunho on Betwitched. I thing
Samantha Stevens and Mayberry's Count came from the same twig on the family
tree. Throughout all the begatting that took place somewhere along the way
the Count and Samantha got related. Throw in the witchcraft in
When Ellen Brown the manicurists is explaining to Andy that she cant marry him
at the very end of the episode, she says something I cant make out what it is.
Right before Ellen says I will always have fond memories of you it sounds
like the words she spoke were not the ones she moved with
'I'm afraid the fish ain't the only one that got away'. What does Andy's
