Well, almost.
Jan and I are waiting in the Seattle airport on our flight to get back to
WBMTUBB home base but I thought I would check in with your guys. I loved
our Alaskan cruise but I missed my daily does of Mayberry here on the
internet. Lucky for me, several folks that go with us on the Ma
I spoke with Mr. Cady about 20 years when he moved to the Charbonneau golf
community.
He was a friendly, pleasant man to talk with who told me he turned down an
offer to portray Mayberry's chief imbiber, but was glad to later do an

Mr. Cady didn't want a lot of publicity; he sa
i am reading "The Presidents Club," an insightful look at the bond formed
by former and current presidents. As I watched "Andy" episodes lately, it
made me think of President Jimmy Carter, a southern man who has long served

I did a comedy presentation at a local church Wednesday. Had a great turn out.

and even the address changes to the digest. A big shout out to the folks
here in Ohio, love to see neighbors who enjoy the best show Television
has ever had.

Black and White” in Ridgecrest, N.C. (right outside Asheville). This
three-day Bible study event starts at 3 pm on Tuesday, 9/25 and ends at

I have observed a few things in Mayberry that were shown only one time. In
the episode "Mayberry Goes Hollywood", the Mayor tries to cut down the old oak
tree. But that episode was the only time the old oak tree was ever seen.

I don't know what is happening with my email responses. For about a year now
when I respond the Digest blends my sentences together. For example: I copy a
line from someone's post, preceed it with the usual bracket >, then hit return
about 5 times leaving plenty of empty lines between the post
