I was watching an old episode of My Three Sons on ME TV as I ate breakfast
this morning, and I noticed that Steve Douglas's perky secretary looked
awfully familiar in an office scene at his job. Upon closer examination I
realized it was Betty Lynn playing the part! I can't recall seeing her on
I was watching She Devils on Wheels ( 1968 ). During the movie the all gal bike
gang strung up a wire across the road and decapitated a rival gang member while
he was chasing them on a bike. I thought these girls are vicious !
And then it came to mind that Aunt Bee would have fit right in with
A story about Jesse (you'll be surprised!)
This is a wonderful short story... but the end is
just so wonderful…..you’ll enjoy it for sure…..
Let me tell you, Jesse hated this job.
And you would too, I imagine, if you had to do it.

One of my all-time favorite greetings was when I walked in Mayberry on Main not
long ago. The first thing Debbie said was, Wouldn't you know his name would be
Don?

I laughed when Sande Riggs brought up the fact that Andy said wouldn't you
know his name would be Don to Barney. I NEVER made that connection. I guess
Don will always be thought of as Barney not Don.

By the way I noticed that Andy introduces Goober as Goober Beasley to the tv
Guess who was wrong on Aunt Bee. me, Please don't hit me, I bruise easy

My beloved and I were married for 30 years when God called him to Heaven. In
our marriage we had complete trust too. Unlike Ken's wife (and I don't
believe it!), I knew several women who would have liked to get their hands
on my darling but I knew he was devoted to me so there was no jealousy.
