Regarding natural disasters in Mayberry, the first one that comes to mind is Barney and his motorcicle. Now I realize that it might not count as a bonifide "natural" disaster, but it certainly was a disaster. The other one that comes to mind was mentioned in season 7's episode "Goober's Contest".
