About two years ago,folks on the digest were talking about how slow and easy
things were in the 50's & 60's.I posted several things that took me back to
those days.Some of the items I mentioned were metal ice trays,soda bottle
sprinklers for ironing,Brownie cameras and quite a few more items.If any
Regarding natural disasters in Mayberry, the first one that comes to mind
is Barney and his motorcicle. Now I realize that it might not count as a
bonifide "natural" disaster, but it certainly was a disaster.
The other one that comes to mind was mentioned in season 7's episode
"Goober's Contest".
