Listening to Hopalong Cassidy on Radio Classics today and who is playing
Hoppy's sidekick, California, but our own Frank Myers (Andy Clyde) from
"Mayberry Goes Bankrupt." Clyde went on to also do the role on the Hopalong
Cassidy TV show.

Boy, I agree one hundred percent with Daved Brouninng's comment about
people who misspell names. It really gets my dander up. People like that
should be banned from putting things in writing.

You all know how it bothered Barney to have his name spelled wrong in the
newspaper. I was in Tipton Co. TN a couple of weeks ago and performed for a
wonderful group of folks. Here is what was in the local paper.

Ken, After racking my brain for at least 2 minutes, the only picture taking I
can remember is when the would-be bank robbers posed as the award bestowing FBI
Agent and the newspaper reporter covering the story. Barney's fast draw had
never been successfully photographed. All they were able to
