Being a trained noticer, I saw the episode Barney Gets His Man the other day on WDBJ Ch7 in Roanoke VA and I happened to notice a weird lighting effect. I think it's from one of those reflecting panels TV uses to direct the sun into the shot and take away shadows. See for yourself at at
