I didn't see a reply to this. Another time Andy lit up was when Sam
Becker's baby was born. Andy lit up on the front porch after delivering the
baby.

The episode that had that lady convict that was in for larceny was another one
that showed Andy smoking and was the one when Silent Sam's son was born.If at
first you don't succeed, try and hide your astonishment.

One thing I have observed in the early episodes when Andy is smoking- he always
puts it out after one or 2 drags-never smokes it completely. A good health tip
for those who still smoke??!

If I remember correctly, an occasional sponsor of TAGS was Chesterfield
cigarettes. Maybe they had a clause in the sponsorship contract that Andy had
