about the 15 most memorable television fathers.
Here's what it said about our favorite TV Dad:
*"Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith, "The Andy Griffith Show") - The

I had a very enjoyable nostalgic Father's Day in my small hometown where we
returned to be part of their annual Dorchester Days Parade and Car Show.
I was able to visit with many people who I have known for over 60 years. I
met the son of one of my classmates and six of his grandchildren
between Andy and Opie. What is your favorite Andy / Opie
moment?
Happy Father's Day to all my TAGS friends. may the spirit and
inspiration of Andy Taylor be in all of us !

car and explaining what it was all about. It was such fun to watch
all the little kids walking around with their Mayberry sticker badges
attached to their shirts.
Even more enjoyable was watching the teens talk about the car and ask

I can't help but post today because today is the day that we recognize all
fathers and who else but Andy Taylor was the pentultimate father? He was
wise, patient, funny, stern, loving, and put his family first. My daddy was
very much the same as Andy, and maybe that is one reason I love TAGS so
