Just this morning, our local station that shows an episode of TAGS every
morning played the episode The Battle Of Mayberry.While I was watching
the episode, the Governor made a special Saturday speech, and the whole town of
Mayberry gathered around in the courthouse to listen to the

worked for Motorola for many years installing police radios. When I showed
him mine, he said it was from the 1960's era, so I am very happy to hear
that the one in mine is authentic.

A couple of instances that came to my mind where someone is listening
to the radio would be the announcement of the escape of four female
prisoners in Convicts At Large and possibly in Gomer the
Houseguest. That one is up for debate because it might have been a
television. We don't actually see
On the subject of radios in TAGS, one that comes to mind is the weather station
