Nice job Ken on coming up with Kirk Douglas and Debbie Reynolds. I'll need
concrete proof that Santa Claus is living before I'll accept that answer,
though. When I first posted the question I was thinking of two other living
persons, but I did remember both of those later.

Very good Chris, Yankee great Whitey Ford is mentioned by name in The Haunted
House. Ford is still alive today at age 85. It is actually Opie's unnamed
friend (played by Ronnie Dapo) who utters the name; Opie mentions Mickey
Mantle. Why Ford would be pitching to his own teammate remains a myst
Unless I missed it, nobody ever named the fifth real person mentioned on TAGS
who is still living, so I'll just give the answer: Doris Day. The other four
were Debbie Reynolds, Kirk Douglas, Whitey Ford, and Fabian. If there are any
others I haven't thought of please chime in.
