I remember reading somewhere that there were six TV Guide Magazines published
that featured the Andy Griffith Show or the stars on it. Does anyone know if
that is correct and if so the dates of those publications? I have four of them
and want to to collect all six. Thanks

There may actually be 8 covers with Andy or Barney on TV Guide.
But one is actually a caricature with Gomer and Barney, and one is just
Barney.

I noticed the comment about the 'Opie the Birdman'
eposide and have to say I love it too. Just wanted to
add, so we can pop our Mayberry pride buttons, that
about 3 years ago T.V.Guide had a special - "T.V.G's
Top 50 Episodes in t.v. History" and 'Birdman' came in

The other day the subject of collectible TV Guides came up (well, I guess it
was I who brought it up), but anyway, I went through the remains of my TAGS
collection and found 20 different TV Guides with Mayberry-related covers. A
few are from Gomer Pyle - USMC or Mayberry R.F.D.
