Hmmm... this is quite an extensive project as you have to write the business rules yourself... ie the word insert would come in front of the sentance etc... maybe their's components available that you can get somewhere... would save you a lot of trouble... i havent' done something like this

As far as i know the reason for 3704 Operation is not allowed when the object is closed is if u r tryin to open a object which is not created or which is already open and not closed. I would try a different var name for the recordset and connection object like oCon and oRec or whatever u want.
