Exactly what port do you plan on routing the incoming mail to? The router is
blocking all of them.
You have to open the incoming mail port (110) and (if using NAT) redirect
all port 110 traffic to the appropriate private ip address. Oh, just re-read
that you have an MX to your server, so I assume
Win XP has its own built in firewall. Perhaps that is what is causing your problem.
Another thought is: administrator rights. XP pro is more strict about that.

I found the text size a tad too small, with my browser set to display text
