I can't agree more. I leave sites immediately, never to return, if they have
Muzak. MIDI is the worst, too, it just never sounds good no matter what the
tune. At least place an Off button in a prominent place.

It sounds *great* if it's a well-written MIDI file and you have convincing
sounds in whatever equipment is playing the file.
Unfortunately, most MIDI files are badly-written, and nearly all PC-grade
MIDI
Apparently I get my computer audio equipment from Appalling R Us, Inc.
It actually took me a really long time to use sound at all on my computer. I
have the speakers turned off almost all the time. I only turn them on when I
want to listen to internet radio, something I haven't done for a while,
