Can't speak for Rudi but what I do is make sure it looks okay w/o scrollbars
at 800x600 and liquid so it will flow for larger ones.

OK, so what resolu
Matt, this is what standards are all about. Design the site using the full
power of css. Make it fluid so resolution isn't an issue (except for
extreme widths).
Wrap the whole thing in a div with a small left and right margin to center
it whatever the screen resolution. Use percentages for widths,
I'm with you. I can't remember the last time I voluntarily maximized my
browser window. I say voluntarily because on occasion I've visited sites
that insisted on going full screen and it really annoys me.
