Hi there Jac
You'll be glad to know there is no error with your page
The footer table really is expanding to 100%
The 100% refers to the visible screen, NOT the width of the Web page...
so if the rest of your page goes past the right hand edge of the screen,
that has gone over 100%, but the
yeah but Erik shouldn't it stretch to fit whatever the width of the
screen is? or have i got it wrong yet again??
Ok, I take that back. the 100% does go to 800 in 800x600

above. it's the
table above that is
thanks Bj I was thinkign I'd have to resort to using the 1px gif if i
couldn't figure it out but I was convinced it should have stretched.

the lotto retire to Malta instead??
Hi there Jac
You'll be glad to know there

only showed (can't see white on white) white, and about 12 lines down
I saw a very small -

OOh!!! light goes on I had that page filed in a folder called test.
The page seems to work anyway. Do you think I should go back and delete those

Sherry,
You're right that it does look different in NN 4.x which I didn't check
in since I absolutely hate that browser and will be glad when it is no
longer even an after though to web design.
I did check it in NN 6.2 Mozilla which are much more standards

Sherry,
When I originally looked through your code it was full of empty font
tags, font tags inside of font tags that had no content in-between the
tags and were redundant. That alone is one good reason for learning CSS.
I set fonts once in css then forget about it. If I want a different font

Welcome back duck lady
your standard html tag for images is align=bottom|middle|top|left|right,
using another align tag in the cell will probably muck that up.
If you wanted to use CSS ( the align tag is deprecated) you could create a
division for the images and use the float property,
