I've been dealing with fasthosts a bit lately :P tbh, they're pretty
much a straight shot host... as long as your server-side needs aren't
too elaborate, you'll be okay with them, but IMO, they're not
incredibly feature rich inasfar as the things I need out of a host.
i.e.: they do not offer IP
I am thoroughly happy with CompuWeb (http://cwcs.co.uk). Support is
excellent 24/7, and the reseller accounts offer all the facilities you could
want including Perl, PHP, ASP and JSP and mySQL and the ability to run cron
jobs.

seek there; UK-based, SSL at the lowest price level, good support. Not
