Installed the release candidate using pip. All working fine using simulator

I do not know if this a known issue: -
Running weectl report from within a virtual environment only brings up the

Tom,
I can confirm that the fix works perfectly.

Tom, Graham,
Yes that was the issue, with sqlite3, you have to change the permissions on
the containing directory.
Armed with that information I have found a way which appears to be robust.
Instead of copying the compressed file across from my main server, I

I have been trying out 5.0.0b1 to ensure that the weewx-`weather34 skin I
maintain is compatible and have noticed an oddity when moving my existing
weewx.sdb database file across.
I installed using the pip installer method which was impressively smooth,

Hi
Hit a problem with the SDR driver. Under WeeWX3.9.2 it work perfectly.
With WeeWX 4.0.0b14 I hit this problem.
ar 09 00:18:24 raspberrypi weewxd[8537]: weewx[8537] CRITICAL weewx.engine:
self.console = loader_function(config_dict, self)

You can see the current build at https://github.com/steepleian/WX-HWS

I am testing WeeWX 4.0.0.a7 with the SDS011 driver.
I am getting the following error: -

Matthew and Gary,
A quick question, if I wanted the packaged skin to install some files
directly into the web root rather than skin or bin/user, (a) is this
possible? (b) what is the syntax? I have tried all the various path options
that I can think of and install.py keeps throwing syntax error
