The log looks fine.
Two more things to try.
1. Using a web browser, try posting directly to the RF server. That is,
take one of the URLs in the log, replace XXX with your WU password, then
put it in a browser and hit enter. After a second or two, the server should
respond with 'success'. If this
I wouldn't think so.
If you run weewx directly from the command line, it will print LOOP packets
(every 2 seconds), and REC records (every archive period). What do you see
for windSpeed and windGust in the REC printouts?
If the console is unable to support windGust when the wind sensor is

No solution but some food for thought...
I was looking at your station on WU via the link you gave and when I
manually refresh it seems like the station is being updated every few
seconds, the 'station reported x seconds' ago was continually jumping down

Hi guys,
Today I had upgrade my ecosystem. I had added external sensor for wind. To
be exact I dissatached wind sensor from ISS and attached it for external
module. Set it up with ID=3.
When I put wee_device I see
TRANSMITTERS:
Channel 1:iss
Channel 2:
just to be clear, [Acurite].debug_raw = 1 is my shorthand for:
[Acurite]
...
debug_raw = 1
Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering where to put this. I made
the change and bounced weewx.
I'll monitor my logs to make sure I don't fill up my SD in the middle to

One more thing to try: set debug=2 in weewx.conf. This will log the URL
used to contact the WU.
I will be on the road today, so I may not be able to get back to you for a

Given that the Australian forecast and warnings feature of the Responsive

so it is easier to set for your location in Australia.

Makes sense. I am well aware that this Acurite is low end hardware, and
honestly, I am pleasantly surprised how well it has worked over the past
year with Weewx. I figured I would have more issues than this. I guess it
is great software development and community involvement ... :) I have som
With the gaining popularity of the Responsive Skin for Australian users, I
have updated the homepage forecast and warnings so they are now localised.
