in the code you edited - have you tried changing maximumfractiondigits and
minimumfractiondigits from 1 to 0? It seems to me - without having the
skin - that this should do what you want If it does not do the trick
then put it back to 1 and wait for Pat!!

Hello.
I wanted to ask if the wind values (in the live view) could be displayed as
a whole, without them? I mean that. Currently, the values are always
displayed with 3.2 km/h, but more interesting would be 3 km/h. Is that
possible?

I think you may be correct... It looks like only half or so of the data was
actually pulling from the sensors. I'll have to figure that issue out, but
it doesn't look like the problem was in the config changes we made.
Thanks again Tom!

Hmmm.
If you run weewxd directly from the console command line, what values do
you see go by on the console?

Thanks Tom,
Thanks for the fast response! I created the section that you said in
weewx.conf, see below, and now I don't get any data in the archive table,
also included below, with previous AVG values for comparison sake.
Suggestions?

As LOOP packets arrive, they are accumulated in "accumulators." When it's
time to generate a new archive record, the value are "extracted." As you
note, the default is to take the average value over the interval, but there
are alternatives, which can be changed in weewx.conf. The drivers are not

Good afternoon, I hope everyone is enjoying their labor day weekend!
I have a custom data source that I wrote a driver for, and have recently
changed it from pulling data when the archive packet is created, to when
the loop packet is received. This is working well, and everything is

The current version of weewxd won't let you do it, but earlier version were
not so hard-nosed.

Thank you, Tom. Changing the target_unit fixed it. I surw didn't want to
lose my historical data. Everything seems fine with the Pi now, so I'll
let it run for a few days and then cut over to it for "production."

Hi Thomas,
thanks, this works well.

Hi,
I have seen this a number of times with these sensors, what I have done is
the following to make it less of an issue
Checking for loose wires or wires not making good contact at either the
GPIO pins or the device..
Power cycle the system.
Replacing the device.
Making sure there are no other d
I don't think this has to be a problem: just change the unit system on the
Pi, so it matches the unit system of the database file from the old CentOS
system, METRICWX:
[StdConvert]
# DO NOT MODIFY THIS VALUE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
target_unit = METRICWX# Options are 'US',
The problem is that extraTemp[8,9,10] and extraHumid[8,9,10] are not
defined as part of any group, so they revert to the default, which uses
standard Python formatting. You're the first person I've encountered that
actually has more than 7 temperature sensors!

Here's the context. My weakness is understanding databases in general. For
almost 4 years, I have been weewx on a CentOS system capturing data from a
Vantage Vue Console. My weewx.sdb file has nearly 4 years of historical
data. That's the workhorse and is chugging along nicely.

Hi,
I'm using weewx with the Skin Seasons. Some values (temperatures and
humidity) are displayed 6 decimal places. The rest is normal with 1 decimal
place. I didn't find a way to adjust it
