I found a clock program here:
http://pantburk.info/?blog=89
Then I resized it to the size I needed:
mogrify -resize 75x75 out.png
Then I overlaid that over my wecam picture:
convert 20200312-205401.jpg out.png -geometry +540+5 -composite out.png
Seems to work OK

I like the clock you have on the video.
How did you do that?
Can you post the code?
I have overlaid the time and date but the clock would be nice feature.

Hi,
Looks like your syntax is wrong, you need to follow the syntax detailed under
‘Aggregation periods’ in the Customization Guide
(http://www.weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#general_aggregation_periods)

Helllo,
I'ḿ a bit lost with creating some statistics for the data from two
databases.
when I use:
$week($weeks_ago=2).grid_energy.max.formattedit works perfectly
directly with the skin template (SMA)
if I try to use it in another skin with:
$week($weeks_ago=2)($data_binding='SMA_binding')
The issue is resolved by the following:
I installed
libfreetype6-dev
libjpeg-dev
python-cjson
I uninstalled the skin, made certain the directories were gone, rebooted
and installed the skin again.
After configuring, I get full functionality..
The last item is to resolve why my local mosquitto
Hello,
Has anyone managed to install Weewx on a Synology NAS?
I am trying to follow the procedure described here without success:

I get error message saying : apt-get command not found.
Trying to fix this one brings me other ones, and I am a bit lost...

I have my own .sdb back up service which looks like this below. It runs
once a day but you can schedule it any way you wish and since the R-Pi's
connection is a 3G modem that runs mostly on GPRS speeds it helps
compressing the file first and running it independently:

restart it and then copy to Google drive. Has worked consistently for a
couple of years.

I have now gotten to the bottom of the crashes.
The copy of the database uptp S3 takes more than 5 minutes and as my
archive interval is 5 minutes I was getting a checksum error as the source
file was getting modified before completing.
I have fixed that by doing a local copy prior to the copy
Hello Gary,
Thanks for your answer! I am still looking for a good option to get the
data on my NAS.
I am not sure I understand what you say about RTL_433 and RTL_SDR, could
you please explain with a bit more details?
Is it possible to catch the flux of data with simple python programming or

It looks like the Cumulus extension has not been ported to Python 3.
You'll have to talk to the extension author about that.

Thanks Bob,
I had already found
Restart=always
RestartSec=60
And these appear to have stopped the crashes, and I know they shouldn't but
my system has now been running without a restart for nearly 24 hours, the
previous best was 11 hours.
If it survives for more than a few days then I am goin
