Yeah I think I will do the same . I was leaning that way because everything else looked too hard. I have MQTT already set up. Thanks On Tuesday 12 March 2024 at 10:44:15 UTC+11 bell...@gmail.com wrote: > My solution was to run rtl_433 as a separate service that publishes to > MQTT. I then run

My solution was to run rtl_433 as a separate service that publishes to MQTT. I then run MQTTSubscribe to augment the station/driver data. I already had the MQTT infrastructure, so it was a minor lift for me. Some more information is here,

Most likely you need to add the user "weewx" to the "dialout" group. See the wiki section *add the weewx user to group defined on a device .* On Mon, Mar 11, 2024 at 4:13 PM

Give https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/Understanding-permissions a read and see if that helps. Summary is at https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/Understanding-permissions#the-weewx-user and which group typically permits most is at the bottom of the same page. On Monday, March 11, 2024

New install on a fresh RPI4B, new card etc. Installation seems to go fine, but there seems to be a permissions issue with the USB0 port I am using for the USB -> serial adapter to the serial console on the Davis VP. Log as follows: × weewx.service - WeeWX Loaded: loaded

Thanks Vince it works like a charm :) I figured out the --add-column from your link no worry :) I now have my new column. sqlite> select dateTime, extraTemp3, extraHumid3 from archive where dateTime > 1710186000; 1710186300|20.2| 1710186600|20.2|

oops - that is a https://www.weewx.com/docs/4.10/utilities.htm#Action_--add-column to add the column. Sorry for the typo. On Monday, March 11, 2024 at 1:05:19 PM UTC-7 vince wrote: > You're on v4 so you can add a column via >

You're on v4 so you can add a column via https://www.weewx.com/docs/4.10/utilities.htm#Action_--rebuild-daily and I think a subsequent https://www.weewx.com/docs/4.10/utilities.htm#Action_--rebuild-daily On Monday, March 11, 2024 at 12:53:24 PM UTC-7 Invisible Man wrote: > Hi, > In WeeWx, if

Hi, In WeeWx, if I inspect the archive table, there is an extraTemp3, but no extraHumid3. Why is that? And is it possible to get a extraHumid3? Indeed, I have a sensor 3 which provides both temperature and humidity. ``` sqlite> .schema archive CREATE TABLE archive (`dateTime` INTEGER NOT NULL

Tom - Fantastic! It was a permissions issue, and your solution resolved it. That actually crossed my mind but wasn't sure how to resolve it. I am adding this to my notes for future reference. These notes certainly saved me when reinstalling, I remember the initial config of this and doing it

If I'm understanding correctly, you wish to publish to /var/www/html directly, not /var/www/html/weewx. Without a log, it's hard to say what the problem is, but I would guess it's a permissions issue. On the theory that it is, try this: 1. You've asked the report engine to generate *both*
