Thanks again to everyone who replied for the responses and the advice. I went

Thanks for the reply! (And thanks also Graham and Tom)
I replaced the battery a while back when I first started having issues, I
suspect the solar panel is shot so it no longer charges. The panel prices have
gone up — $86.57 with shipping. Given that I’m within driving distance of their
Davis has a rebuild program where they will completely repair and rebuild your
station for a reasonable fee (I believe it was $95 when I had mine done a few
years ago). You are responsible for shipping it to them, or in my case dropping
it off since they aren’t too far from where I live. The
I have it working with my PurpleAir and the weewx-purple extension.
All I had to do was add pm2_5 to my sensor list and create a graph:

And in /etc/weewx/skins/Belchertown/graphs.conf:

If you're only using InfluxDB for WeeWX, then a RPi is fine. However, I
feed my entire home data collection into it and it would quickly overwhelm
both the I/O rates of the RPi as well as memory (CPU would be fine). My
InfluxDB instance is using just short of 3GB of real memory and 60+GB of
I posted the issue I ran into converting to Python 3 a few days back, but never
received any replies. It may work, but you may also run into issues if you have
any add-ons with Python 2.x specific code.

I figured I would try and get my station up and running with 4.1 and
python3 today, but ran into a problem. For some reason, the aqi extension
(https://github.com/jonathankoren/weewx-aqi) can't find the calculator
module if I switch /etc/default/weewx
Or just upgrade to a Pi4. I have had USB issues for years with older Pis, to
the point where I have a hub on one of them just to drive a z-wave stick.
However, I haven’t had any issues at all with the Pi4, I’m assuming because of
the USB hardware redesign on that box.
Admittedly, I haven’t had
The simplest way from the command line is to use either service or systemctl —
depending on which OS you have on the Pi.

That doesn’t sound like an SD card issue to me, it sounds like something is up
either with the console or the USB or serial connection. Usually either
unplugging and reconnecting the console or a reboot will clear that up.
I have the old Vantage Pro USB module and I have had a couple of times

I haven’t seen anything from them yet, but my first question would be “how much
are they going to pay me for my data that they are now monetizing”?

I finally had time to take a look at this today, it looks great! I just
sent you a pull request for the one remaining cmon reference in the
process_service value.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with the data... I'm going to have
to find some time to add it into the Saratoga templates
With PurpleAir, they give you the option when you setup the sensor to make the
data public or private.

Ken,
How goes your work on a PurpleAir plugin? Mine finally showed up last week
(they had some supplier issues) and I just got it up on the outside of the
house a few minutes ago. If you have something that works I'd be glad to
give it a try and let you know how it goes for me.
On Tuesday,
A friend of mine pointed me at the PurpleAir back when we had a valley full
of smoke from the Napa/Sonoma fires a few months ago. This thread just
convinced me to buy one. :-) If no one else has tackled it by the time it
shows up and I have time to install it, I'll look into adding a data

I had a hard powerdown of my WeeWX Pi the other day, and ever since it hasn't
been updating the web pages or external weather feeds.
I see some archive update errors after the crash, the logs show the following
and my last update was at 18:35:
