hello again Matthew,
I am testing your script on a RPi of test " no sensors connect", as

months 6 days ago/", the error done by your script is good.

*hello Vince,*
I test first in local on my RPi.

hello Matthew and Vince.
I just looked at your files, I think "tell me if it's true" that your
Nagios is on the same machine as "Weewx"; my Nagios is on a server
outside the RPi, so I think there must be something missing in the
programs to run it remotely, like I have in the other Nagios
thanks all
I will test that tomorrow and I will come back to you.
Bye

alternately throw a snmp trap for nagios to listen for, use 'logger' to
log a syslog message, etc. Many ways to cause something to alert in a way

ok, I didn't understand everything, but I was able to put "python3

here are some nagios plugins that i wrote a *very* long time ago. you
might be able to use the pattern in check_wview as the basis for a
check_weewx. you might even be able to use check_wview directly, depending
on the schema you use in weewx.

You correct, and apologies to MWall for missing the remarks.
To note, there is a typo, or later name change (missing a 'd'):
apt-get install libdb*d*-sqlite3-perl
No longer DBI error, but still issues. I will keep posted, or try Maarten
script.

What I am doing now, is checking how 'old' the latest records are in the

must be something wrong. perl-script:

use DBI;

The perl code requires a CPAN module so it can talk to the sqlite3 db
Look at the bottom of the comment block at the top of check_wview
Turned-out the above is Matthew Wall page... maybe Matt can clarify.

Also in the search of Nagios plugin for WeeWX monitoring.
Found the following:

I am just using out of the box checks for now. Maybe a log file monitor to
make sure there are specific terms in the log (or not in the log) would be
good
