AFAIK the tool is "in use" and acts as an api for the primary sources tool.

Right now the CREATE, UPDATE and DELETE endpoint do not have user authentication and the only "layer of security" is client side.

We can generate the template for our tool starting from the mw.wbTemplates.store.values _javascript_ object which contains the templates used to generate the wikidata pages.
We will probably need to extend the available templates with the ones we need for the Primary

Thanks to the documentation and the investigation of existing extensions we identified a few core files we'll need to produce to obtain a working extension:
extension body file to store the execution code
hooks.php file to define the callback functions called

Upon further investigation we discovered that skins are limited to menus / categories and so on and don't have effect on body content.
