I think the ··· button doesn't suggest what you are going to find there, but
an expanded list of languages. Also, when open, the button to close it is a

More and more people is working on data visualizations, and lots of data
scientists would benefit from this. Currently, we can upload a relatively large
.tab data file to Commons and we can query for items who are producing this
data, but we can't merge both

Actually, most of the templates can get data automagically from Wikidata. It
will take any Wikipedia around one hour to have it deployed:

That's it! This feature is for newly created pages that should be linked to
other languages, so it shouldn't create NewItem, but link to already existing
items. This feature now is creating duplicated entries at Wikidata, making the
possible mess much bigger

There used to be a way to add Wikidata queries, get a list of lexemes or
forms, record them and automatically upload to Commons and Wikidata Lexemes,
but this functionality seems to be gone. If we could get that working, the
change would be huge.

No, the vertical reposition is not happening. The result is the same if you put 1, 0 or -1. So the solution can't be creating a new image (for that, I would make all of them "banner-sized".
