Dear all,
Europa Nostra is initiating a new participatory programme, called Social
Media Volunteers for Heritage. Our partner for this programme is European
Heritage Volunteers
have have not recognised local heritage, or are even
reluctant to share the lists. After many phone calls and emails, volunteers
managed to gather a unique database of Dutch municipal monuments with more
than 80% of the municipalities covered.

Thanks. Feedback is welcome until tonight.
Unfortunately I will rather have to cut information short, than to add

Armenia wouldn't fit in - but it would also be a great opportunity for a
blog post.

Wiki Loves Monuments was organised for the sixth time in 2015, and has now
collected well over

blog! Could I keep the UA story
as a backup for this? It sounds more complicated to explain in 100 words
than the NL story, and I like the geographic diversity

, which could let us tell a
story about national competitions, how volunteers play a role etc. But I
would need your help! Who would be able to help write a piece? What would
be your favourite approach?

info for people who want to add new countries: how they should
do that in the mean time, and who to approach. It'll be an interesting WLM

user:Ата from WMUA may write an international blog post today, and share
it. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do a decent announcement right
now, due to work.
