Is there any way to interface between the hardware and windows .SYS and
.VXD device drivers ? If it is possible, I would be interested in
writing the interface.

After running winecfg and setting winver for DAZStudio.exe to XP, I get

I'm trying to install the Windows Installer using Winetools.
Unfortunately, it stops about 60% through the Preparing Installation
phase with the message The installer has insufficient privileges to
modify this file: C:\Config Msi\444860.rbf Anyone know what is going

Reading that someone was able to install the Palm Desktop software, I
decided to try myself. I downloaded the software from Palm, then tried
installing it. This is the output.

Why not a compromise, then ? I'm sure three space indents are clear

icons to be extracted onto the desktop. Alternatively, get a resource
editor and manually extract the icon into a file. (Or is it possible to

I installed PowerPaint (free on thw Net, somewhere) OK, but when I try
to run it I get a message box telling me the installation is corrupt,
and the following output from Wine.

I have been unable to find the reason Wine MIDI Mapper does not open
properly. The trace below shows the output from winedbg with WINDEBUG
set to +all. I hope someone can tell me what is going on.

with a dialog asking for me to select a printer. When I OK'ed that,
with the splash screen still showing, wine crashed. Here is the trace.

In trying to get a Windows music composition program
(www.noteworthycomposer.com) working, I have been unable to hear
playbacks of music because the Wine MIDI Mapper does not open. Does
anyone have any idea what is causing this problem, and if there is a fix
available ?
