an option? Basically it would be a throw away value. This
greatly simplifies some things that need to be done.
Everything else is ok. Someone get laxdragon to start moving all
the files on WineHQ..

winetest we have
2) winrash client has downloaded a winetest
- we send them only the most current test we know of, then tell them
to come back in an hour and check for a new one.
I think this will be sufficient for quite a while.
-Brian Who's getting ready to go on vacation and won't
make
sure it checks with WineHQ about once an hour for a new version. Pretty
easy.

that winetest.exe is working now on Windows (we think!) I asked him if he
could put something together for testing.

winehq still shows:
Latest Release:
Wine 20040309 (diff:s)
released: 2004/03/09
Nothing under Latest News either.
I just updated Latest News, but I didn't update wine_release.template.
I didn't want to step on Newman's toes.

by doing an
interview series, so I'm planning on doing that again.
Anyone know what happened on October 5th and 6th that generated so
many hits?

replicate the functionality of xdialog.
We could potentially fail gracefully into shell mode if Wine
can't start. It might be a cheap and simple way to get a
GUI front-end.
Of course, all this requires sane defaults so Wine can
actually run wdialog.
Any thoughts?

Parts of which may end up in the User Guide.
But that's just me, and I ain't the one maintaining it. So
if Dimi doesn't want it then I guess the best thing to do would
be to resubmit with those parts left out.

have any scripts that automate this I
should be able to easily automate it into the existing publishing
system I have. XML doesn't lend itself to spellchecking too easily,
so I've never pursued it.)

Can anyone point me to a good read on testing win32 apps on linux with
wine? I want to write scripts that automate mouse clicks on buttons,
read output from text fields, and grab pixel colors. My language of
choice is python.

Title: Re: Status of Wine History page?
It is my understanding that Brian V sent the Wine History page to J
Newman for inclusion.
May I ask what the current status is?
I talked to Newman yesterday and we worked out a plan to
update it. I'm also updating some other stuff that has
, and then sabotage the elevator
when everyone crowds in.
I bet we would have gotten a lot of press from it though.
Speaking of memorable moments - One of Dimi, Michael (Stefaniuc), Marcus
or Brian had a camera, and we took a picture in front of the Ice palace.
Can that someone please step forward

Is there a local LUG that would be willing to set something like

Looks like Nullsoft has released the Winamp 3 code as open source.
I have no idea what their build process is like, but maybe porting
it could be added to the Winelib page?

3) Send to Brian V for WWN coverage :) (Brian if you want you can get a
early start)
Hm. 1.7 meters of snow this week at Steamboat and I have the next three days
off. I'm guessing I won't have much done until Monday.

DLL's) when it didn't like Wine's ws2_32. According to the
references built into TaxCut this wasn't part of the original
Win95 that shipped. It came out shortly after as an add-on and
was likely first included in OSR2.

winter schedule is going to be changing quite a bit. The
late Thursday/early Friday approach might be harder. One nice thing
about posting these by midday on Friday is that we probably get a few
more people reading them as opposed to publishing them on a Saturday.
