I'd not do that with anything that you don't want to shift. The pole will
shrink and swell. Eventually the clamps will move.

We have a few pole mounted systems.
Have a good electrical contractor install them and they'll know how to set
the poles.
As for mounting, I usually use sat dish mounts.

Build a BIG GIANT RF shield between the SM and neighbor. I have had this
exact issue with a neighbor who was a total jerk. We used a big 4'x8'
wooden frame covered a few times over with chicken wire. It helped enough.

The incredible variety of IP cameras available on the market makes it tough to

Yes. Many of the default 5.x filters do not have enough db filtering.
We got some 5.3Ghz cavity filters designed/made for us by DCI that worked
really great, about 35-30 db rejection. They were about $300ish.
I bet they could make you a model that extended the full 5.x band.

But in our market/topology, that is no where near good enough to serve

But then again, its not really necessary to serve "everybody".

We've had this topic before, from the perspective that, one's chance to
accurately predict and/or have a successful install heavily relies on their
market topology, not just processes. Example... a) AP on 2000-ft mountain
looking down on a flat town versus b) urban environment with tower height
For those of you providing voip services over wireless, what would you say
your take rate of the service is? That is, your ratio of wireless customers
to voip customers?

The first gen Tranzeos were not so good At all.
The 902 serieis.. Much better. 900 can be voodoo though. I consider it and a 18

In our experience with Trango 900mhz, it does work well in SOME areas.

I think this number is going to fluctuate a lot depending on a number of
things.
1. Frequencies available - we typically only use 5.8 or 2.3 (MMDS). Not
good for NLOS installations. I'm looking into 900 for some areas to get
around this problem..
2. Topography. Big flat areas with mountains
I once found the company that made the Tranzeo filters for their

other 5GHz filter recommendations for that matter besides the
