Unless your battery pack negative is earth grounded... you aren't grounded. The TS5 is intended to be run off of 120volts, which will ground through the power plug to the electric system. Alternately, there are two spade connectors on the back that you can wire to your earth grounds at the

The TS5 was designed to operate on 120v AC with the potential to work off a 24V battery bank, however the operating voltage is very narrow. You can run off batteries as long as you have a voltage regulator and fuse installed between the battery bank and the TS5, and be fine. I've done this, and

Okay, so they say it is grounded through the power adapter in the QSG (which I still don't believe) and then show how to ground it through some slots in the side. I don't have one in front of me to see what it actually looks like, but the rendering on the QSG doesn't lend itself to one
