I am heading up the WECAT response for this. Please send me an
email to bwebs...@wirelessmapping.com. Gino Villarini is a large WISP on the
island who has requested help. The problem is logistics right now. His
replacement equipment is still stateside and we are working

Back in 2005 Mac Dearman had organized some relief for the gulf coast after
Hurricane Katrina -- I believe it was under an organization called
RadioResponse, which I'm not finding much on now.
I spent several weeks with them in Mississippi helping set up phones,
communications, and computers for
I just offer a discount commensurate to the amount of time a year they're gone
and done. I donn't shut it off or anything. Too much work to keep track of.

With Powercode we take off the "montly internet service" which enables them
to have Internet, speed rating, etc and then add a "monthly service" which
does all the normal billing stuff but doesn't add any Internet speed
plan/allow them to get online.

Either its on or not.. they can change plans, but that’s about it. I would
not offer a off package, cause then you are not getting anything. I understand
the reason, but that is what DSL or cable would do, its either a package or its
off. And its only off it you are out of term.

We have been using QBO for about 4 years when we converted from a PC based QB
version. We use QBO for PL, B/S, Payroll and Invoicing.
QBO was really immature and very buggy at first but I have to admit that it has
settled in nicely since 1Q 2016. We set up a sister company on Zoho Books
I used to do the same with quickbooks until we moved to Zoho 2 years ago.
We use the Zoho suite for virtually all our back office operations. It's
remarkably affordable, scalable, and flexible. And it has a big enough
ecosystem that you find or develop whatever custom stuff you'd like.

We use QB desktop 2016 version for everything except processing credit
cards. Learned quick I did not want Intuit to control my credit card
deposits. We work with an online bank, Propay.com for our credit card
needs. They note they work with internet providers and have been very
good.
For those of you who offer this service, how are your packages
structured? I can see 2 packages, one where the internet is actually
not available at all and one where there is a minimal connection for
home monitoring. I am interested in minimum terms of full package
pricing and if you charge
QBO here along with their payroll.
I don't use QBO for my recurring billing though. I use chargify.com for that.

Tom,
OI have clients that have used them all and they seem to gravitate back to
QBB. I can tell you one client tried ZOHO and was very disappointed for
what it's worth.
