I was wondering what other Universities use a Cisco VPN 3000 for their Wireless Authentication? We at SIUC do. For over two years we have been using 2 Cisco 3030's in Load Balancing mode and requiring our Wireless users to Authenticate to these for any Network connectivity, including surfing

Under the SSID setting there is a session timeout value. By default I believe that it is 0, you may want to check that. To me a 0 indicates that the feature is disabled, but it may also indicate a default behavior, which could be a forced re-authentication after 14,400 seconds (4 hours). --Joe --

Jorge, I'm probably "reaching", but if your clients and NetBios server are on different IP subnets do you need an IP-helper statement in router(s) on the client subnet interface(s) for the NetBios server's address? Only issue we saw in testing the 3.2.116.21 code, 4404 controllers, and 1010 AP's
