We've run into a similar issue. I'm not sure what brand of headsets are used
by our coaches, but they stomp on ch11. We basically punted and have
alternated between channels 1 and 6 in several of our b/g locations. It
isn't our preferred solution, but it's working for us.

We never noticed a threshold regarding the web login, but we did have issues
with it. I think that we were still running 4.1.185 at the time. We finally
just left the ssid open and let users pass through to our own home grown
captive portal. It has been much more reliable. We did the same thing for

to 4.2.176.0. It seems to be stable, we haven't seen any wisms reload in the

The eap settings need to be changed on the cisco wlc's also. For some reason
the default is only 1 second. We set ours to 30 seconds. This change
improved the logon process for many platforms.
